Eva Mendes is furious with the censor board for allowing violence on TV screens and not her Calvin Klein TV ad that featured a nipple slippage.
Since the ad was pulled from U.S. TV networks last month (Aug08) before it aired, only few people have seen the Secret Obsession promo. The ad came under fire for being too provocative.
And now, Mendes thinks that she knows what all the fuss is about.

Celina has just returned from London from an incomplete schedule of Tigmanshu Dhulia's King Con opposite Govinda. "The weather in London got bad. And we hardly did any work. Chi Chi had Rumi Jaffrey's film and I had to return to complete Hello Darling. So we came back."
She got into the Dhulia project at the eleventh hour. And she couldn't be happier. It is possibly the most fearsomely challenging role in the actress' career. "In King Con I play a stripper who's a kleptomaniac," Celina giggles.
"I died laughing when I heard my role. I'm having the time of my life. I got the role just a week before shooting. They weren't sure about how to make the girl look. I play this stripper who's half-English and half-Indian."

One is actually puzzled when presented the audio CD of A Wednesday. How can a movie, which is plot driven and tells a tale on a particular Wednesday between afternoon and evening, actually have a place for songs.
Ok, so there could be a few situational background pieces but five of them in a single movie is a bit difficult to digest.
Well, to be fair to A Wednesday, it is not the first to be experimenting on such lines when it comes to the plot and the music which accompanies it.

First thing that strikes about the soundtrack of Ru Ba Ru is that it comprises of as many as 12 songs and that too all being originals with not a single remix version. Phew!
Now that's something new in the current times when even a hardcore musical like Karzzzz is coming with only 9 songs (though there are 10 remix versions to boast). This makes one wonder about what exactly does the music of Ru Ba Ru have to offer?
With 'Speed Of Sound', Satyadev Burman and Sameeruddin contributing to the music of Ru Ba Ru, one expects quite some variety in the offering.

Fresh trouble for Ram Gopal Varma
Following a complaint filed by Bollywood producer Bharat Shah against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma for alleged breach of contract by him, Indian Motion Pictures Producer's Association (IMPPA) has sent a letter to Varma to explain his stand on the matter.
"We have sent a letter Friday to Varma to explain his stand on the complaint file by Shah," said Sushmaa Shiromani, Vice President IMPPA.
"We are investigating the papers filed by Shah and waiting for a reply from Varma after which we would be able to comment. IMPPA will take some time to come to any conclusion because first we will have to investigate the case thoroughly," Shiromani told here Friday.
